Our last challenge for Weekend Cook and Tell was for all of you to share your favorite breakfast dishes for any time of day. We called this Breakfast For Dinner. We appreciated your early morning eats both in recipe, photo, and story form. Here are our favorite breakfast dishes.
Rocquie does not wake up ravenous in the morning. In fact, she says she cannot even smell upon first waking up. Rocquie, for this reason we have this post. You are not alone. To placate her breakfast-loving children and spouse, Rocquie whipped up a Potato & Spinach Frittata served with broiled grapefruit. Placate, indeed!
If you’ve been to Spain, chances are you’ve tried zahavah‘s dish: Tortilla Española. Tortilla Española is traditionally made up of egg, potato, and onion. Some regions may incorporate additional ingredients. I’d say one of the most impressive aspects of watching a Spaniard whip up this dish is the flip. Ta-da!

Of course, if you have a sensitive morning constitution, just add a Tums to the dish. It’ll be worth it.
